Good morning. Thanks for checking out the photoblog again. Please don't copy these images. Thanks. Would you like to go and get a cup of coffee or something? No? Maybe later then? OK. Talk to you soon...
If anyone happens to be in DC for the next few weeks, get to the Corcoran Gallery in downtown, and check out the Warhol exhibit. I had the distinct pleasure of covering the event for the magazine last night, and it was amazing. Say what you want about Andy Warhol, but the man changed not just the art world, but I believe American culture in general. The selections are some of the best, on loan from the Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, and include such works as the Soup Can and Marilyn. Amazing work and a great way to spend a rainy Friday night. ...especially if you're working, and it's an open bar. Stoli-O, anyone?
The images below are some selections from about half of the shoots this week. Nothing too exciting, nothing too extravagent, but I'm very happy with most of them, and I'm interested to hear what you all think. Wines of the World is the greatest wine store in all of DC. This much is for sure. If you ever come to the District, and you want the perfect wine with that dinner, the staff at WOTW will come up with something you never thought of, and it will be the best wine you've ever had. I put my photos on it.
The Somerset House is a luxury condo complex in Bethesda, and it's extravagant beyond belief. Zelda Hiller is one of the premier real estate agents in the city, and she was gracious enough to let us into her exclusive pad on the 4th floor in the C building. Should I ever come into good money, and I would want to live near DC, I'd move all my furnishings into a 2600-6600sq' residence at the Somerset.
Both of the shoots were for ads that will appear in the Nov/Dec issue of DC Magazine. (ModernLuxury LLC.)
Cheers!
